Amaro Montenegro

Discover Amaro Montenegro: A Timeless Italian Elixir

Born in 1885, Amaro Montenegro is a celebrated Italian liqueur crafted from a secret blend of 40 botanicals sourced from around the world. Originally named Elisir Lungavita, it was later renamed in honor of Princess Elena of Montenegro, symbolizing its royal heritage and timeless elegance.

Created by visionary founder Stanislao Cobianchi, Amaro Montenegro is renowned for its complex yet balanced flavor profile—delicately bitter, sweet, and herbal. Its unique taste is the result of a meticulous process, culminating in the addition of Il Premio, a micro-distilled essence so potent that only one drop per bottle is needed to complete the recipe.

With its iconic bottle design reminiscent of an alchemist’s vial, Amaro Montenegro is more than a drink—it’s a story of craftsmanship, tradition, and innovation. Whether enjoyed neat, on the rocks, or as the heart of a modern cocktail, it offers a versatile and refined experience that continues to captivate connoisseurs worldwide.
