SCIENCE BASED TARGETS INITIATIVE SBTi ENGAGEMENT

Alcobrands has successfully had its CO2 emission reduction targets approved by the Science Based Targets initiative SBTi ensuring alignment with the emission levels required to meet the climate goals of the Paris Agreement.

The targets related to CO2 emissions from Alcobrands’ operations scopes 1 and 2 are aligned with the reductions needed to limit global warming to 1.5°C the most ambitious goal of the Paris Agreement. Alcobrands has committed to achieving a 42% reduction in CO2 emissions from scopes 1 and 2 by 2030 using 2021 as the base year.
