Veuve Amiot

Veuve Amiot, creator of sparkling wines since 1884, is one of the leading sparkling wine houses in the Loire. They produce fine sparkling wines under the AOC Saumur and AOC Crémant de Loire appellations. The company's cellars are located in Saint-Hilaire-Saint-Florent. All the grapes are sourced from carefully selected local growers and are pressed at the firm's two pressing houses in Meurs and Chacé. The Brut, which constitutes the majority of production, is a blend of 85% Chenin Blanc and 15% Cabernet Franc and is aged in the bottle for nine months before release.
