A Meeting of Shared Values
Abelé 1757, based in Reims, is one of the oldest Champagne houses in France. Known for its long-standing tradition and small-scale production, it consistently delivers high-quality cuvées that stand out for their elegance and depth — perfectly in line with the philosophy of Fine Fleur.
Chef Thomas Diepersloot and his team served a seasonal four-course lunch, each dish thoughtfully paired with a different champagne from Abelé 1757. The pairings were carefully curated to highlight the strengths of both the food and the wine.
With the Expertise of Jurgen Lijcops
Throughout the lunch, Jurgen Lijcops was present to introduce each champagne and offer background on the house’s history, style, and craftsmanship. His knowledge and stories added extra depth to the tasting experience and gave guests a true sense of what makes Abelé 1757 so special.
A Memorable Afternoon
It was an afternoon of refined flavours, meaningful conversations, and elegant pairings — a perfect moment shared by those who appreciate the finer things in life.
