Through the streets of Porto
Our adventure began with a playful tuktuk tour through the city center. Porto revealed itself in layers – from centuries-old churches adorned with azulejo tiles to winding alleys that opened up to breathtaking views over the Douro River. The ride brought us close to the rhythm of the city: lively squares, hidden corners, and a mix of tradition and modern energy that makes Porto so unique.
As the tuktuks zipped through the narrow streets, we laughed, pointed, and shared stories. It was the perfect way to bond as a team and feel the spirit of Porto come alive.
The House of the Don
From the streets of Porto, we made our way to the legendary Sandeman House – a name that resonates far beyond Portugal. Inside, history unfolded before us. We learned how Sandeman, founded in 1790, grew into an icon known around the globe. The Don, cloaked in black with his wide-brimmed Spanish hat, remains one of the most recognizable figures in the world of wine and spirits – a true symbol of timeless style and quality.
Walking through the cellars and listening to the stories, we felt the weight of tradition and the pride of innovation. Every cask, every bottle, seemed to carry not just flavors but also centuries of dedication.
